ABOUT

A love of art and drawing has always been constant in my life. Seeing subjects in paint has always haunted or intrigued me. I love engaging with things and people in the real world.  It's the love of the real, the representational, expressed in various forms that motivate my art style. I take cues from photography, illustration, painting, character design and drawing. 

Capturing the various moods of a face, be it human or animal is a joy and challenge. My love of wildlife and the environment was born from a love of the outdoors and seeing animals at zoos and nature preserves.

I feel that any image should tell a good story. By doing this, you engage the audience and establish a connection. These are concepts I try to accomplish in my work, to engage and be relatable.
